Nottingham Trent Research Group

The research at Nottingham Trent University is led by Professor Glen McHale and Dr Mike Newton within the Physics group of the School of Science & Technology. Research is extensive and covers:

Wetting: Statics and dynamics

Topographic effects: Superhydrophobicity and superspreading

Liquid-based optics: Electrowetting and dielectrophoresis

Quartz crystal microbalances: Fundamentals and applications

NMR/MRI: Portable and unilateral imaging

For additional information on wetting related experiments and on presentations and publications relating to our research see the menu links on the left hand side.
